Jan Innes worked for 25 years at Rogers Communications handling corporate communications, public affairs and government relations. Rogers is Canada’s largest wireless and Cable provider in Canada and a diversified entertainment company. Rogers owns Sportsnet, the # 1 sports media brand in Canada as well as the Toronto Blue Jays and a majority ownership of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, and Toronto Argos).

After retiring from Rogers in 2015, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Rogers Communications in 2021 and Chairs the Pension and Sustainability and Social Index Committees. Ms. Innes also Chairs the Board of the Rogers Group of Funds which provides financial support to the Canadian production sector for television series and documentary films. For 9 years she was a Board member of Ports Toronto (Billy Bishop Airport on Toronto Island and the Toronto Harbour). She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and completed the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto in 2014.
