Zenita Henderson is a visionary marketing and business development leader with over 30 years in the cable and broadband industry. She has held influential roles at Jerrold/General Instrument, Motorola, ARRIS (now CommScope), and served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at SCTE®—a subsidiary of CableLabs®. Zenita also held executive leadership positions as Chief Marketing Officer and interim Chief Revenue Officer at SEGRA (a Cox Company), and Chief Marketing Officer at Point Broadband.

Zenita has served the industry in various roles from Customer Service to Global Marketing and Sales partnering with service providers to launch new services, event management and creating executive briefing environments to showcase innovative technology.

A passionate advocate for STEM/STEAM, diversity, and inclusion, Zenita actively supports education, the arts, healthcare, and workforce development. She lends her marketing and relationship-building expertise to a variety of organizations, serving on the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Technology and Engineering Emmy Committee and boards including the Blind Institute of Technology, the Syndeo Institute at The Cable Center, and Christians in Communications. She has also served with The WICT Network, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Girls Inc., Inner Explorer, and others.

Zenita is a Cable TV Pioneer (Class of 2014) and 2025 Cable Hall of Fame inductee. She has been recognized multiple years by Cablefax as one of the Most Powerful Women and Most Influential Minorities in Cable, and in 2019 was named SCTE/WICT Woman in Technology and WICT Woman to Watch in Technology. She is also a recipient of the #Fearless50 global marketer designation by Marketo/Adobe, a Diversity Trailblazer, and a Profiles in Diversity Journal “Woman Worth Watching®.” Her leadership across her career has earned her teams industry awards for digital events and media relations.
