Jana Henthorn retired as CEO of The Cable Center, an educational nonprofit organization in January of 2022. She was proud to oversee all of TCC programs from the Cable Hall of Fame — honoring industry pioneers and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit on which the cable industry was built — to the Intrapreneurship Academy, which develops rising leaders into intrapreneurs — driving internal innovation, growth, and change in our industry.
Additionally, she led the Cable Center Customer Centric Consortium (C5) initiative, which includes an industry executive forum focused on customer experience and incorporates a group of customer-centric programs funded by the Cox Endowment for Customer Experience Management.
In April of 2010, she was inducted as a Cable TV Pioneer and served as Vice President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications from 2008-2010. She is a frequent speaker on topics and panels pertaining to customer experience, CSAT, technology, and cable industry innovations.
Prior to joining The Cable Center, she served as the Vice President of Affiliate Sales, Western Region, for A&E Television Networks. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Operations and Service Fulfillment for Jones Intercable, one of the top ten cable distributors until its acquisition by Comcast in 1999. She has a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Denver.
