In Memoriam – Rocco B. Commisso

We join our colleagues across the industry in mourning the loss of Rocco Commisso, founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Mediacom Communications. Rocco was a visionary leader whose passion, generosity, and commitment left a lasting mark on the cable and broadband industry and on all who had the privilege of working with him.

Mr. Commisso’s legacy is reflected at The Cable Center through the Rocco B. Commisso Learning Center within our library, which stands as a testament to his extraordinary generosity and steadfast support of our mission.

We were honored to celebrate Rocco’s remarkable career and enduring contributions by inducting him into the Cable Hall of Fame in 2011. He will be remembered not only for what he built, but for the generosity of spirit with which he built it.
