DENVER – The Syndeo Institute at The Cable Center announced that Tony Speller, Senior Vice President, Network Operations at Comcast, has been named the 2026 Innovation and Intrapreneurship Award for Excellence recipient. The award recognizes and celebrates individuals and/or teams who are visionaries — turning bold ideas into reality, who push boundaries, challenge the status quo, and go above and beyond their expected responsibilities to drive meaningful and positive change. They strive to make an outsized impact from within their organizations in the here and now while focusing on the future. The award, which includes induction into the Cable Hall of Fame, will be presented at the 29th annual Cable Hall of Fame celebration, April 23, 2026, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.

Speller leads the deployment of the company’s network operations strategy for its Connectivity & Platforms business domestically across its 40-state footprint, with responsibility for ensuring network reliability, performance and seamless service delivery for residents and businesses.
Starting as a technician, Speller has more than 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He has held numerous senior-level technology and operations roles across various geographies and is widely recognized for his commitment to innovation, talent development and mentorship.
Speller has received multiple industry and community honors, including recognition as a Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers “Cable TV Pioneer” and as a recent recipient of the NAMIC Leader in Technology Award. He remains actively involved in civic and community initiatives, reflecting his ongoing commitment to leadership, service, and giving back beyond the workplace.
