C5 Spring 2023 Conference
Save the Date!
May 17 & 18, 2023
Washington, D.C.
We are delighted to announce that C5 Spring 2023 will be hosted by NCTA in the nation’s capital, Washington DC, May 17 & 18, 2023. Big thanks to Wyatt for picking up the baton for our next event and bringing C5ers back to the east coast. While it’s likely we’ll miss the famous cherry blossom period (mid-March and lasts to mid-April), the weather should be fabulous. Temperatures usually climb into the mid-70s by mid-May, making this season a great time for us to experience the city’s beauty.
Work is already underway by the Senior Fellows to develop the program and while details are yet to be forthcoming, you can expect the following highlights:
- Our famous “Egg-Timer” session. The perfect opportunity to hear from our MSO members about recent CX challenges they are facing and/or new initiatives that they’re working on.
- A Fireside Chat session. During this session, Michael Powell, President & CEO of NCTA, will share his views about key factors impacting the cable industry, broadband expansion, and telecommunications issues.
- Keynote Address. We’re excited to announce that Bain & Company, joins us this spring to deliver the Keynote Address. Bain owns the proprietary NPS instrument, in conjunction with its creator, Fred Reichheld, and Satmetrix. Details on the speaker will be forthcoming.
- Our three association members (NCTA, CableLabs, and CTAM) bring us up to date on their respective areas (technology, marketing, and legislation, respectively).
- “Spotlight On…” session. It is likely the focus of this session will be about workforce challenges facing operators and the industry more generally.
- Our Innovation Showcase session. Yet to be determined, but likely to focus on an “innovation initiative” use case example by a C5 MSO, or a research tool under development by CableLabs.
- CX Solutions through Technology. Use case examples presented by C5 Partners (sponsoring vendor) that demonstrate how their products/services can provide leading-edge solutions to improve operations (e.g., reduce churn, improve satisfaction, improve operation efficiencies, increase revenue, etc.).
- Mid-May is shaping up to be a busy time in Washington DC, with a number of conferences scheduled. This impacts (negatively) on hotel availability, so we’re working hard to bring you the best rate possible for accommodation. Stay tuned for further details.
We look forward to getting together again this spring!
Best,
